Founder & CEO

Evan is the driving force behind Loquat Learning, tirelessly championing his vision of effective, holistic education. His journey working with young people started at just 14 years old, when he started teaching tennis lessons at his local club. It continued at  16, when he embarked on becoming an internationally certified tennis coach. Meanwhile, he was in one of the first cohorts to After immersing himself in Argentine culture during a year of Rotary student exchange, and beginning his studies at Bermuda College, he earned his Bachelor's Degree in International Business from Schiller International University Madrid. A certified ISSA Personal Trainer, Evan is continually expanding his knowledge in fields like strength and conditioning, nutrition, and Yoga. Fluency in Spanish, as well as advanced levels of Portuguese and French reinforce his understanding of the advantages of learning multiple languages.

When he's not steering Loquat Learning, Evan serves as the traveling tennis coach for a professional athlete, journeying across the international circuit.

Evan's nine years of experience working with the youth and his intrinsic passion for teaching, inspired by his family of educators, have honed his knack for making learning engaging, relevant, and practical. His mission? To ensure that all young people are provided equal opportunity to succeed and achieve happiness, regardless of circumstances, in Bermuda and beyond.
